Becoming a doula and birth advocate is the realization of a lifelong dream. I began certifying as a doula in 2021 while pregnant with my son, and certified as a lactation specialist in 2022. I have experienced first-hand the support of a doula and I can say for certain it made all the difference in my birth experience. Being a doula encompasses providing comfort, knowing a client's individual needs, offering advice and guidance, communicating with your care team and more. Each experience is tailored to  your particular pregnancy.
